- What is the purpose of the fund?
We seek out innovative business ideas and motivated entrepreneurs and invest in companies that have the potential to build market leading brands and generate superior financial returns on invested capital.
- How much capital does the fund invest?
We invest in the early growth stage and our ideal deal investment size is between Rs. 5 Crores to Rs. 20 Crores.
- Does Capital18 co-invest with other funds?
Yes, we are keen on opportunities to co-invest with outstanding venture firms and we have a history of investing in such opportunities.
- Does Capital18 require a commercial arrangement with Network18 to make an investment?
No, we make our investment decisions independent of the company's relationship with Network18. We do not require our portfolio companies to work with or have a relationship with Network18 that is different from what they would, in the normal course of business.
- How involved is Capital18 with its portfolio companies?
We believe that it is the entrepreneur's job to build the company. Our role is to support them in this journey, provide advice when asked for and serve as a sounding board for key decisions.
